Little trick:
- Mature plantains tend to get sticky when baking; to avoid some cleaning, use a piece of aluminum foil and oil
- This is an easy, simple and great idea for a snack… or an alternative to rice or pasta as an accompaniment to your favourite meal
You can serve it with any kind of meat, a tomato sauce, as is, hot or cold. It also preserves well in the fridge.

Ingredients
- 2 Plantains (preferably mature)
Directions
1. | Peel the plantains |
2. | Place them on a baking sheet |
3. | Put them in the oven at 450°C for at least 20 minutes |
4. | Turn the plantains halfway through |
5. | Remove the plantains when they get as brown as you like |
6. | As simple as that!! Now… enjoy them as a snack, or as an accompaniment !! |
