Pineapple beignets Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 500ml pineapple juice
- 1 pinch yellow coloring
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 tablespoons butter
- frying oil
- 2 cups sugar
Directions
1. | Pour the pineapple juice in a bowl. Mix in the sugar until it melts completely |
2. | Add the food coloring and baking soda. Keep mixing and incorporate the flour and room-temperature butter |
3. | Knead the dough until smooth and let it rest 20 mn |
4. | Form little balls with the dough and fry them in hot oil, about 5 minutes per doughnut |
