Plantain gratin Recipe

Cook time 20 minutes
Total time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 plantain
  • 2 tablespoons already made tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated cheese

Directions

1. Cut the plantain in slices 4-5mm thick
2. Place one layer of plantain slices in a ramekin, spread one tablespoon of tomato sauce on top. Add another layer of plantains and finish your gratin with the rest of your tomato sauce. Sprinkle some grated cheese on top of your final layer
3. Bake at 400F for 20 minutes or until the top of your gratin takes on a deep red and gold color.
