Sukuma wiki

Sukuma wiki

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Sukuma (kale or collard greens) (chopped)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • salt

Directions

1. Heat up oil in a pot and add the onions
2. Stir well and saute for a bit
3. Add tomato and saute
4. Add sukuma and saute for a short time
5. Add 1/2 cup water and then salt to taste
6. Let the mixture simmer until the sukuma has reached a desired tenderness
7. Serve warm with ugali or chapati
